■ The S-218S is a high-performance subwoofer designed for ground stacking with a bandpass horn cabinet design with two long-travel 18" drivers. With its high SPL and extended frequency response, the S-218S is ideal for all large sound reinforcement applications. When using multiples of three or any three S-218S subwoofers, they can be placed in an array of cardioid subwoofers for impressive directivity control at lower frequencies, significantly reducing the amount of energy radiating to the rear.

■ The speaker cabinet is made of marine plywood and has an anti-collision paint finish. The front of the cabinet is protected by a rigid metal grille supported by acoustically transparent foam. The side panels of the S-218S contain four handles, while the rear is equipped with four rollers. The housing is equipped with two spacers to protect the base plate from scratches. Each S-218S cabinet is provided with two recesses with corresponding shapes to accommodate these spacers and prevent the cabinets from moving when stacked.
